aBIZinaBOX Web Mentions – Sept. 2018 – we always appreciate it when we are mentioned in a publication, a new blog, or another website as the recognition makes it easier for us to get our message out. We appreciate the publisher of Cannabislaw.report – Sean Hocking for having mentioned us in a new column, Tailored Benefits which is written by Jeffrey Rosen, Esq. who describes his background as
I am a licensed attorney formerly practicing in SF, Silicon Valley & Taipei, Taiwan for over ten (10) years. I then transitioned to owning an Employee Benefits brokerage company. I was Uber’s first employee benefits broker, from 3 employees to 1500. I have lived in SF for 34 years. I have run an employee benefits company 23 + years and my strategic partner’s firm has decades Property Casualty experience for cannabis business insurance. We have had cannabis clients for over eleven (11) years, including dispensaries, manufacturers, distributors, and growers, among others as well as operations in Wash. DC, Boston, MA and Phila, PA. The combined brings much to the table for our clients.
We offer a full suite of insurance coverages, protection policies, and exclusive captive products for those in the cannabis space. I am on both the NCIA and CCIA insurance sub-committees. I have spoken at many conferences around the country. This year, I am scheduled to speak at large cannabis conventions located in NY, Los Angeles, Oakland, Boston as well as a panelist with the Cal CPA Symposium last summer in Los Angeles. I am also active in coordinating and participating in Cannabis Employer Bootcamps throughout CA. Finally, as mentioned, we are building several captive insurance platforms exclusively for the cannabis community.
We look forward to engaging with Jeffrey and identifying areas of mutual interest where we can collaborate and provide additional knowledge and solutions for the commercial cannabis industry in California.
We were also published on the Medical Marijuana Connect [mmpconnect.com ]website. –
We very much appreciate any efforts that help to make the cannabis industry in California better aware of what we try to do for both our clients and the good of the industry.
