Meet HealthEuropa.eu – the legalization of medical cannabis is a phenomenon that isn’t limited to California, the US, or North America. We are witnessing a global phenomenon. This morning, I had the pleasure of meeting Matthew Swindells, the Head of European Projects for Health Europa
He explains that they provide information for the use of the European Commission, European Government Departments and industry sectors for Research, Development & Technology across Healthcare and Medicine. We have three brands, Health Europa, Government Europa & SciTech Europa, all extremely popular. I am the head of the strategy for all three brands.
We are just in the process finalizing the Health Europa publication for February 2019 which will be Issue number 8 which will be focussing on the European strategy and future funding programs for the legalization of medicinal cannabis for European countries by 2022. We have been working on this since February 2018 ready for February 2019.
We will be focussing on a number of Europe’s key initiatives and working with some of Europe’s leading groups and government departments, research groups, pharma based Medical Cannabis companies and regulatory bodies to really bridge the gap in the sharing of information to educate key stakeholders, opinion leaders on the importance of legalisation of medical cannabis and the benefits of this for certain conditions.
We will be looking at research and development into this, looking at public health and safety for medical cannabis, focussing on illnesses that this can have a huge effect on as well as looking at industry standards, it is going to be huge.
We will be having a country focus on the UK, Israel, Germany, Greece & Denmark as European leaders in the legalization process of medicinal cannabis and as North America is a global leader in the pharma and research side of this sector, we will be focussing on a North American & European collaborations within this sector and we are working with some of North America’s leading companies from this sector and research institutes focussing on this subject to really create stronger links with European partners.
We will also be focussing on some of Europe’s leading research & development programs, looking a clinical trials with different areas of medical cannabis and cannabis oils as well as all other areas as discussed, we will be having in-depth features on a number of areas from with government departments with some of Europe’s leading associations. We have also visited numerous conferences over the past ten months also which has been a great experience.
We will be having some wonderful authors in the book and we including the European Commission, associations, foundations, federations, alliances and patient case studies as said above, Government Departments, key leaders in this field, case studies, it is going to be great. The distribution is 42,687 copies across 32 countries to key policymakers, stakeholders and key decision makers across the European and Global Medical Cannabis arenas. It has been dubbed by many as a Medical Cannabis Bible for Europe so we are very excited about it.
